Service Supervisor Assist in the coordination of Spots and Services, leads a crew of technicians to perform contracted services in a timely manner, following established procedures in order to produce revenue and consistently achieve ASI's gross profit goals, while exceeding customer expectations on a daily basis. Reports to Service Manager. Job Description & Responsibilities Assist in planning, managing resources and procurement, and execute all work required within assigned region or contracts to achieve and or exceed service department revenues and growth. Supervise and lead service and installation technicians to produce high quality projects and services achieving profit targets. Basic knowledge in the preparation and design estimates for Facilities and Utilities services, HVAC, boilers and boiler room equipment, Code and non-code piping, control systems and electrical panels. Maximizes manpower utilization and minimizes unallocated time. Regularly visits jobs in progress to inspect the quality of work performed and to provide on-the-job training and technical support to field personnel. Perform periodic walk thru inspections to all assigned projects in order to assure high craftmanship, quality control, and contract compliance. Standardise use service documentation, reporting and procedures. Communicate with existing and potential new customers regarding their project needs. Assure that operational process are performed aligned with main office: Estimates, Proposals, Booking Packages, Work Orders, Service Reports, Invoices, Purchase Orders, Schedules, Submittals and RFI Logs. Ensures the quality, standardization, profitability, and timeliness of all service department production, billing, paperwork, project estimates, etc. Maintains an adequate level of customer interaction and personal selling activity. Prepare operations and sales report on a monthly basis. Promote CARE program and customers Total Satisfaction thru excellence service and follow up. Resolves customer disputes about services performed. Aid the accounting department in the collections efforts making sure that all work is backed by a purchase order and make sure that change orders are generated and approved as needed in a timely manner. Promote ASI's uniform code for service technicians and employees. Conduct monthly meetings with techs reinforce ASI's service culture, safety, soft skills, and technical training. Promote and manage with ASI Safety Officer a culture to achieve Zero Accident service department and Reporting. "Promotes Total Compliance" culture among employees. Assure on time reporting and investigation of Near Misses, Incidents, and Accidents as per ASI's safety policy. Assist Account Sales rep(s) on service and project proposals such as repairs, maintenance, and equipment installations. Other duties as assigned Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical engineering preferred. Minimum experience 0-2 years in related field Basic HVAC, controls, and/or boilers knowledge Good teamwork and leadership skills. Sufficient on-hand technical knowledge and skills. Strong initiative, self-directed, multi-task and self-motivated. Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) with excellent verbal and written communications skills. Able to estimate and prepare service proposals and contracts, technical evaluations, and deliver technical product presentations in both languages. Powered by JazzHR
