General Description
Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares journal entries, maintains balance sheet schedules and ledgers, and account and bank reconciliations.Support in the analysis of operational expenses Assists with monthly closings and account analysis. Support in the analysis of variations with budget and projections. Prepares and submits weekly/monthly reports. Assists with accounting projects as requested. Other support tasks
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Experience
At least one year related experience. At least two years of experience working with the General Ledger.
Other Qualifications
Knowledge of accounting principles.
Excellent accountancy skills of the General Ledger
Knowledge of the complete accounting cycle, accounting entries, analysis of subsidiaries, preparation of financial and related reports.
Analytical ability to evaluate financial information.
Ability to integrate and apply accounting knowledge to the analysis of operational and financial processes.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, both oral and written.
Skills in systems such as; Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP and Peachtree.
Ability to prioritize and anticipate situations.
Ability to identify problems, analyze their causes and resolve them in a timely and accurate manner.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and delivery dates.
Ability to adapt to changes, new situations and work under pressure.
