Accountant-Comptroller

Descripción del Empleo:
We are looking for an experienced accountant to fulfill the Comptroller position of Caras of the Americas and all of its subsidiaries. The candidate must be passionate about community servicesand highly motivated to lead a complete finance transformation of a “start-up”/ “next generation” non-for-profit organization. Job Responsibilities related but not limited to:Policies and Procedures:• Develop, write and establish financial policies, procedures, and controls; Budget: Work to understand the Organization’s activities and work plans and prepare budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans. Donations and Fundraising activities; Accounting functions (day-to-day); reporting; compliance; Other operational matters
Requisitos:
Dominance about the entire accounting cycle • Computer technical skills including (Accounting system software, excel, word, power-point); Financial and analytical skills; Organized and Multi-tasking; Passionate about coaching and develop staffs; Project management skills; Ability to work with multiple people of different backgrounds and multiple tasks; Willing to work with limited resources and facilities; Willing to work beyond the job’s responsibilities to help the organization to deliver its mission
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum 3-8 years’ experience in accounting/finance
• Experienced with the entire accounting cycle.
• Experienced with financial reporting requirements
• Experienced in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
