Accountant

*Job Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our client finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on financial management and reporting. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing budgets, commision payments and conducting account analysis to support the organization's financial health.

*Duties*

* Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
* Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
* Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
* Assist in budgeting processes by forecasting future financial performance based on historical data.
* Utilize accounting software, including PeopleSoft, for efficient data management and reporting.
* Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and reporting methods.
* Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
* Stay updated on financial concepts and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.

*Requirements*

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
* Proficiency in accounting softwares
* Strong understanding of financial concepts, budgeting, and financial management principles.
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate account analysis.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly.
