Prosolar Puerto Rico is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager with a strong background in construction accounting, US GAAP reporting, monthly balance reconciliation, inter-company settlement reconciliation, and ERP system implementation. This role is critical to maintaining financial integrity, supporting project cost control, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in strengthening operational efficiency and providing financial leadership at the project level.
This position requires full time on site in San Juan, Puerto Rico. A middle management performance-based bonus will be offered based on 5 goals predefined by Fiscal Year, aligned with the candidate's experience and compensation expectations.

Lead the full accounting cycle for construction projects, including general ledger management, month-end close, and financial reporting.
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
Manage intercompany settlement reconciliations, ensuring timely balancing of transactions between related entities and proper documentation of intercompany activity.
Oversee revenue recognition based on the percentage-of-completion method (cost incurred) in accordance with US GAAP.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards and internal controls across all accounting activities.
Manage project cost tracking and profitability analysis, ensuring accurate budget vs. actual reporting and timely identification of variances.
Work closely with field operations teams to ensure accurate cost capture, effective project controls, and financial visibility.
Develop and maintain standardized accounting processes to support financial accuracy and scalability as the company grows.
Lead or actively participate in the implementation, customization, and optimization of ERP systems to support the company's construction and financial operations.
Collaborate with the Controller and executive leadership to provide timely financial insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Support external audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting as needed.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, if applicable.
