Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, we need a highly skilled individual to audit commissions payments in AX and in Power Bi. Experience in corporate accounting practices within a dynamic environment is preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, a solid understanding of financial concepts, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.Analyze and record in the system all accounting movements and transactions carried out within the company, as well as prepare reports and financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles in the country.
Essential Functions:
* Provide accounting and administrative support to the Accounting Department in reconciling daily sales balances from branch locations.
* Assist in obtaining data and searching for documents to support the updating of bank reconciliations.
* Collect financial information to prepare journal entries while documenting transactions.
* Perform any necessary tasks to support the updating of financial accounts, as directed by the Accounting Department team.
* Work directly with the Financial Analyst and the Regional Accounting Manager.
* Comply fully with company policies, regulations, work procedures, and instructions.
* Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting assigned project deadlines.
Requirements
* Proven experience with software such as Power Bi and AX preferably.
* Strong understanding of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, accrual accounting, and financial statement writing
* Knowledge of technical accounting areas such as SOX compliance, public accounting practices, or non-profit accounting is a plus
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, report generation, and financial modeling
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and perform cash flow analysis or budgeting tasks
* Effective communication skills for financial report writing and collaboration with team members or mentors
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently
