Accounting Clerk

*Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position is essential for supporting our financial operations and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

*Duties*
* Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports and forecasts.
* Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and variances.
* Support financial auditing processes by providing necessary documentation and insights.
* Interpret financial reports to aid in decision-making processes.
* Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) in all accounting practices.
* Maintain the general ledger by recording transactions and adjusting entries.
* Engage in technical accounting tasks as required, including tax-related functions.
* Collaborate with team members on private equity reporting and analysis.

*Experience*
Candidates should possess a strong background in accounting principles and practices. Preferred qualifications include:
* Experience with financial auditing and account reconciliation.
* Proficiency in financial report interpretation and analysis.
* Familiarity with GAAP standards and technical accounting procedures.
* Knowledge of private equity accounting is a plus.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent organizational abilities and time management skills.
