We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and assist in daily office operations.
*Responsibilities*
* Manage calendars and schedule appointments
* Perform clerical duties such as typing, filing, and data entry
* Assist with proofreading documents for accuracy
* Operate phone systems and direct calls to appropriate personnel
* Maintain office organization and orderliness
* Utilize computer literacy skills to handle various tasks efficiently
* Support the team with general office tasks
* Familiarity with and QuickBooks and Sage is a plus
* Basics of the accounting cycle
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in an office or clerical role is preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting principles
