Air Conditioning Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in air conditioning systems, including ammonia refrigeration. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining various HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

*Responsibilities*
* Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and refrigeration units.
* Troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose problems accurately.
* Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all work activities.
* Collaborate with team members to design efficient HVAC systems tailored to client needs.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
* Maintain accurate records of services performed and equipment repairs.

*Qualifications*
* Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician or in a similar role.
* Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, including the ability to plumb and boil as necessary.
* Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
* Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting equipment issues.
* Ability to operate vehicles for transporting tools and equipment; a valid driver's license is required.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
