Job Description

Experienced Software Developer to support a government contract, working full-time on-premise. Hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise-level applications using Microsoft technologies. Possess strong analytical thinking, advanced technical proficiency, and excellent problem-solving capabilities. Their responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable, robust technical solutions—ranging from database and program design to coding and various other programming tasks.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Responsible for developing scalable and robust technical solutions for some of the most complex enterprise systems with great attention to detail and design.
Conduct research and fact finding to develop or modify complex information systems.
Perform and design unit testing to ensure the quality of the code produced.
Troubleshoot complex system problems and performance issues as
needed.
Define and specify relevant production turnover documentation.
Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.
Maintain confidentiality regarding the information being processed stored or accessed.
Complete and submit Status report as requested.
Support and adhere to Development defined standards, practices and procedures.
Accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective and professional.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Work in a fast paced and sense of urgency and accountability.
Listens to others and accepts input from team members.
Clearly articulate ideas and thoughts verbally.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey information accurately.
Work independently with limited supervision.
Establishes effective working relationship with users.
Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field
Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience
Demonstrated understanding of the end-to-end web application development lifecycle, encompassing user interface design, backend logic, and relational database architecture.
Strong proficiency in: ASP.NET Core MVC, C#, VB.NET, HTML, Razor, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), stored procedures, T-SQL, WinForms, WebForms and ETL processes.
Experience with: DevExtreme, DevExpress controls, IIS configuration and troubleshooting, Azure services, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and Key Vaults.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
Ability to work independently in an on-site, high-security environment

Environmental Conditions:

Requires the employee to work inside the office and outside the office if there is a coordinated meeting with clients. If requested, work on weekends for special program events. Team environment.
