Applications Administrator

GENERAL DESCRIPTION Requires an individual to work independently while receiving moderate guidance. Must be able to coordinate and validate the functioning of application in production. Gather information about the performance of the application, define requirements for data workflows and processes, provides troubleshooting assistance when application presents errors. Assist in the implementation of updates, vulnerabilities and support the administration of the application. Responsible for managing configuration activities. Identifying and resolving low to mid complexity issues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned) Consults with users/clients to gather information about application needs, objectives, functions, features. Perform input and output requirements and make recommendations. Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and issues logs in support of client projects and/or initiatives. Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs. Provide implementation and configuration support to Customers or internal Groups. Meet all milestones and deliverables as requested. Ensure Customer expectations are met and exceeded. Direct the inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about applications. Ongoing application performance monitoring and after implementation. Administer and support the designated application. Act as approver for other analysts on Customer program changes. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Computer Programming/Science from an accredited university. Experience Minimum of two (2) year of experience related to applications management, monitoring applications performance, analysis for troubleshooting the application and definition of processes for data workflows. CERTIFICATES AND LICENCES Azure Cloud Certifications Preferred.
