Architect In Training (Ait)

PQC Architectural Studio LLC is seeking an *Assistant Project Architect (Architect in Training – AIT)* to support *construction supervision and field inspection* across active projects.

This is a *field-driven role* requiring *daily site presence*, strong judgment, and the ability to *document and communicate clearly*. We are looking for a professional who is *responsible, proactive, sharp, and takes initiative* in a construction environment.

*What You'll Do*

* Perform *on-site supervision and inspection* of construction activities
* Verify compliance with *plans, specifications, and contract documents*
* Identify and track *field issues, deficiencies, and non-conforming work*
* Coordinate with *contractors, consultants, and project teams*
* Attend and document *site meetings and coordination meetings*
* Prepare *professional written reports*, including:
* Daily/weekly field reports
* Progress updates
* Meeting minutes with action items
* *Perform construction document administration and control efficiently*, including RFIs, submittals, and field documentation
* Maintain *accurate, organized, and audit-ready project records*

*What We're Looking For*

* *Architect in Training (AIT) – Required*
* *1–3 years of experience* preferred (field experience is a plus)
* *Highly responsible and dependable*
* *Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)*
* *Sharp, detail-oriented, and observant*
* *Proactive with strong initiative* and ability to work independently
* Familiarity with AutoCAD/Revit and Microsoft Office
* *Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred*

*Work Model*

* *Primary:* Assigned project site (daily field supervision & inspection)
* *Secondary:* Office time for reporting, coordination, and documentation

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $***** per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
