Must be experienced in analyzing associated business rulesprocess models, analyzing legacy logical and physical data models, and collaborating with Subject Matter Experts. Primary Responsibilities Develop and publish enterprise subject area diagrams, conceptual, logical and physical data models Analyze source system data to understand the data structures, definitions and anomalies Research and document data definitions for all subject areas and primary data sets supporting the core Std. Reporting Self Service needs Develop data management documentation for communication and education to the Business and BI communities Conduct data classification, defining data taxonomy and data ontology for key subject areas, data structures and solutions Regularly interact with business subject matter experts to collect data definition and data classification information Define best practices and standards in the data modeling process (working with Lead Data Architect Participate in projects to support report engineering staff in their implementation of the model Integrate newly sourced data into a common data model ENGLISH PROFICIENT ASSESSMENT WILL BE REQUIRED AFTER APPLICATION Required Qualifications 6 years' experience as a Data Modeler 2 years' experience in Requirements and Architectural Decisions Experience in Erwin Data Modeling tool Experience managing effective relationships with business stakeholders and customers Experience with designing architectures and implementing related solutions Strong experience with conceptual, logical and physical (relational and dimensional) modeling Experience with modeling for Data WarehouseData Mart, Master Data Management and Metadata Management processes Experience in conflict resolution Experience in SQL, data staging techniques, metadata tools and data base design including data integrationETL and BIreporting tools Availability to work in Puerto Rico English Proficiency Preferred Qualifications Physical modeldesign on MPP database architectures like Teradata, Netezza and PostgressGreenplum Careers with Optum.
