*Sneed & Mitchell LLP* is looking for a workers' compensation attorney to aid within file review and processing of insurance claims. No prior experience needed. We have an immediate need for new associates and provide all of the training necessary to be successful in this position.
This position largely includes the following:
* Review, analyze and summarize claims documents including medical records, incident reports, and employment files for filings
* Learn to provide a legal analysis of files to determine likelihood of recovery, recoverable amounts, identification of additional documentation necessary for recovery
* Prepare and present clients for their depositions
* Participate in meetings, hearing, depositions, mediations, and trials, to address issues pertinent to the resolution of cases
* Communicate clearly and concisely with clients on issues involving their claims
* Assist with drafting legal documents
* Treat clients with concern, compassion, and understanding for their circumstance.

*Location:* Must reside in Puerto Rico. This position is remote, but could require travel at times.
*Compensation: *Competitive $60,000 - $65,000 yearly, incredible benefits including a super generous retirement plan with substantial employer contributions.
*Required Qualifications:*
- State bar license (any state will suffice).
- Recent graduate of an accredited law school (0-1 years).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong legal writing capabilities.
- Duties: Meetings with clients. Defending depositions, recorded statements and vocational assessments.
- Provide weekly case updates.
- Ensure Client matters are actively moving forward
