We are currently looking for an individual to join our team as *Associate Director of Admissions. *Work consists of developing and designing a model to promote an approach in the recruitment and admission of students based on their profile, their needs and academic preferences. Responsible for overseeing the effective implementation of admissions policies and compliance with the requirements and procedures established in the institution. Oversee student recruitment and admission and ensure that application and selection processes meet recruitment objectives and meet customer service standards.

*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*
1. Develop a model to promote an approach to student recruitment and admission based on their profile, academic needs and preferences.
2. Ensure compliance with the rules and policies established in the admission and recruitment processes.
3. Analyze and maintain statistics on applicants, admitted and enrolled, to establish trends in the percentage of conversion using the technological tools available.
4. Prepare and analyze all necessary enrollment reports and data to ensure admission goals and objectives are achieved.
5. Establish the parameters, rules and validation tables for each academic year and the different processes of mechanized systems.
6. Comply with state, federal, and institutional provisions and regulations that apply to student admissions.
7. Apply the applicable Federal Disclosure standards to the processes that are carried out in the area of admissions in coordination with the Registrar's Office.
8. Oversee and the recruitment, prequalification and admission processes.
9. Evaluate applications received for approval and/or denial and certify admissions and enter information into the data system.
10. Analyze and decide the status of the student's admissions record, through the Anthology system, to refer it to the enrollment process.
11. Solve complex situations and problems related to student admission. Handle inquiries, provide information, and advice regarding program information, inquiries about fees, fees, and costs, admission status, student visas, financial aid, and scholarships.
12. Recommend strategies for the integration of technology into admissions processes.
13. Coordinate the mechanized system of the Communication Plan.
14. Coordinate the validation of transfer students with the Registrar's Office.
15. Develop a prospect follow-up plan using calls, letters, and emails.
16. Maintain contact with candidates for admission through telephone calls, emails, among other sources of communication.
17. Prepare reports on the daily monitoring of the applications for admission received.
18. Ensure confidentiality in processes, transactions, document processing, and information handling in compliance with applicable FERPA laws and regulations.
19. Supervise the process of collection and payment into the admission fee system.
20. Develop and submit management reports and statistics related to the work performed, as required.
21. Supervise the professional work of the employees assigned to the area under their responsibility.
22. Prepare and submit to the supervisor the work plan of the area, as well as an updated report on the activities carried out.
23. Participate in updating the content of the website related to federal disclosure.
24. Comply with the provisions of the Machining Attendance Registration Policy and the Evaluation and Performance System.
*REQUIREMENTS*
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration or related area of an accredited university.
2. Three (3) years of experience in a similar position in the field of educational administration.
3. Minimum 18 months of post-secondary admissions experience in a direct student recruitment role.
4. Ability to express himself/herself effectively, verbally and in writing, in Spanish and English.
5. Demonstrate mastery of business productivity technology tools as well as remote communication technologies to support their functions and offer services physically and remotely.
6. Knowledge of the application of federal FERPA 1974 law, related to confidentiality in the handling of students' educational records.
7. Knowledge of the rules and procedures applicable to student areas (Admissions, Tuition, Financial Aid, and Treasury), preferably.
8. Effective management of technological systems and their programming, preferably knowledge of the Banner System.
9. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, administrative staff, students, and the general public.
10.Service-oriented to respond promptly to prospect requirements.
11.Leadership and supervisory skills.
12.Skills to work under pressure.
13.Oriented to teamwork.
14.Ability to prepare clear and concise reports and communications.
15.Ability to use telephone and e-mail or other alternative methods of communication.
