Barback

We are seeking a dedicated Barback to join our team . The ideal candidate will assist bartenders in ensuring excellent customer service by maintaining a clean and organized bar area. The Casino Bar Back is responsible to assist and support both the Casino Server Pantry and the Casino Bartender to help assure that the quality of F&B service offered to the Casino Patrons is outstanding. It is the Casino Bar Back's responsibility to make sure that both the Casino Pantry and the Casino Bar are properly stocked with supplies and that all equipment is properly hooked-up and in working order. Because the Casino Servers and the Casino Bartender may be unable to leave their designated work area without negatively impacting service quality, the Bar Back will among other duties, serve as a runner as well as assist in keeping both areas well-stocked, well-organized and appropriately cleaned and secured. Inventory control and cost-effective handling of supplies will also be a priority. Systems knowledge and the ability to work in a digital work environment.

*Responsibilities*
* Keep the bar stocked with all necessary supplies
* Clean and maintain the bar area, including counters, sinks, utensils, and equipment
* Assist bartenders during service by preparing garnishes, mixing ingredients, and serving drinks
* Collect empty glasses and bottles to maintain a clean and tidy bar
* Help with opening and closing duties as needed

*Skills*
* Experience in a Casino or hospitality setting is preferred
* Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
* Knowledge of bartending techniques is a plus
* Familiarity with food handling procedures
* Proficiency in using cash registers for transactions
* Understanding of bussing procedures in a fast-paced environment
* Previous experience in a hotel kitchen is advantageous

*Requirements*
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Bilingual
* Must be licensed by the PR Gaming Commission
* Responsible alcohol service certification required
