Barista/Cashier

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista for a Bubble Tea Shop to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages and bubble teas. Your ability to engage with customers, provide exceptional service, and maintain high standards of cleanliness will contribute to the overall success of our café.

*Duties*

* Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, bubble teas and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
* Prepare teas, tapiocas and coffe.
* Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
* Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and cash register.
* Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
* Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards during food handling and preparation.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

*Skills*

* Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage recipes is preferred but not require.
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
* Proficient in retail math for accurate cash handling and transactions.
* Experience using POS systems and cash registers effectively.
* Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic math skills for accurate order processing and inventory management.
* Ability to handle cash responsibly while maintaining accuracy in transactions.
* Familiarity with food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.50 - $10.75 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
