Bilingual Outside Plant (Osp) Construction Supervisor – Must Be Local

Job Summary: Supervise the reconstruction of hurricane damaged Copper and Fiber Optic Telco Plant in Puerto Rico. Must be able to read and understand system designs to ensure the proper construction of aerial and underground fiber optics and copper plant. Enforce NESC and Bell standards as well as client quality standards. The purpose of this position is to manage all phases of OSP construction projects in a manner consistent with policies, procedures, quality work standards, customer needs, and applicable local, state and federal regulations. The Construction Supervisor will report to the Project Manager on the status of construction projects and serve as the primary point of contact for the construction crews, local and state government agencies and utility companies. Required Experience: Must have prior outside plant (OSP) construction management experience Candidates should have experience with Telco/Fiber Optic plant construction, service or plant maintenance, and understanding of outside cable plant construction practices, and applicable regulations and standards. Must be local to Puerto Rico Must be bilingual in English and Spanish Ability to travel Must have strong computer skills (MS Excel, Outlook, and Word) Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, working efficiently and effectively under deadlines. Ability to organize and control personnel and materials. Must possess a valid driver's license with safe driving record.
