The Business Analyst has superior written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated problem-solving skills. This individual will be responsible for working with the project team, client, and vendor stakeholders to achieve various project objectives. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of system development lifecycle (SDLC) in an IT environment, knowledge and/or experience with Medicaid or other HHS programs and procedures, and knowledge in quality assurance procedures and documentation.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the development, review, distribution, and presentation of project status reports
· Analyze, review, and maintain vendor and/or client-supplied documentation
· Assist in documentation review facilitation, tracking, and maintenance
· Perform assigned tasks efficiently and effectively, asking questions when instructions are unclear
· Assist in developing, reviewing, and/or discussing project related deliverables
· Assist in documenting and escalating project action items, issues, risks, and/or decisions in timely manner to the client, and other project stakeholders as-is necessary
· Participate in staff/team meetings and trainings
· Provide frequent, clear, and consistent communication to the client, team members, vendor, and direct reports
· Seek out mentoring and coaching for continued career development
Requirements:

Education:
· Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) preferred.
Plus:
· Knowledge of the system development life cycle (SDLC) in an IT environment
· Knowledge and/or experience with Medicaid or other applicable HHS solution programs, policies, and procedures
· Knowledgeable in quality assurance/control procedures, documentation and reporting background
· Experience conducting as-is and to-be organizational assessments
· Preference given to candidates fluent in English and Spanish
