Full Time Job Opportunity General Description The Business Analyst - People Analytics will apply talent data and analytics to improve workforce decisions that drive business performance and growth at Banco Popular. With actionable insights and recommendations, this position will help to transform HR into a driver of analytical actions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work in strategic talent analytical initiatives partnering with business units and stakeholders. Build on existing HR data, by pulling and compiling data from multiple sources including SAP, and analytics investments deepening the capabilities of the HR team For the first assignment, will analyze incentive programs effectiveness/profitability and provide meaningful insights to business units in order to consolidate/create/refine variable plans that drive effective business results. Model the appropriate level of compensation funding required for certain business lines, including forecasting compensation pools while working closely with HR and Finance partners. Conduct statistical analyses of compensation and total rewards data. Perform independent analysis of internal and benchmarking data to support compensation needs for business units. Prepare and present recommendations to stakeholders. Storytelling combining an aptitude for numbers and understanding of financial and business context to analyze and deliver informational visuals for use in discussions with senior management regarding critical focuses such as turnover, attraction, engagement, development, workforce planning, retention and trend analytics. Educates HR and business leaders on how to translate data into insights and action plans Communicates findings to senior management via formal presentations and standard reports and dashboards on periodic/quarterly/annual basis Communicate and present statistical analyses and results, as well as the people and organizational implications to the technical and non-technical audiences; apply expertise in research, quantitative analysis and data visualization to understand implications beyond the quantitative analyses. Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Human Resources Experience Two to four years of experience related to job description Knowledge of statistical analysis (e.g., descriptive statistics and basic familiarity with statistical significance), quantitative research, and experience gathering and interpreting data Experience in SQL, data visualization tools, and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivots, macros, etc.) Other Qualifications Proven business and HR acumen, project management skills, successful teaming with colleagues and a strong data analytic orientation Ability to effectively analyze and synthesize large amounts of complex data into relevant insights and present data in a logical concise manner Can communicate effectively with technical and non-technical partners Result-driven mindset, ability to tackle complex issues Demonstrated mastery of the entire lifecycle of data Project Management skills Certifications / Licenses PMP Business Analyst Certification Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) PHR SPHR Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Competencies Accountability Analytical Discipline Business Excellence Change Agent Character Collaboration & Teamwork Self Development Customer Centric SDL2017
