General Description

Provide support and guidance to the business units in the complaint and issue management escalation process.
Manage activities related to compliance.

Promote the importance of compliance initiatives throughout the units.
Keep up to date with regulatory and legal requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate and provide support on operational and compliance projects
.
Responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion.

Establishes work plan and budget for each phase of project. Leads and coordinates activities of team members to ensure project progress on schedule and within prescribed budget.

Prepare and reviews status reports. Modifies schedules or plans objectives as needed. Prepares project reports for management and internal client and negotiates changes in budget and timeframe.

Manage Regulatory exam, Internal Audits and Regulatory Reviews as appropriate.
Document and report the results of internal control testing including remedial actions to senior management, communicating control gaps and deficiencies to process owners.
Coordinate and manage with the unit corrective action plans to close issues of audit, exams, and regulatory reviews. Identify and evaluate business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement and implementation. Detect internal control deficiencies, evaluate their risk implications, and draw the appropriate conclusions. Assist in the design and implementation of efficient and effective controls across the units. Implement documentation including process flowcharts, process narratives, to address risk and controls. Support process owners through training, reviewing, and providing guidance for their process. Develop and implement with the units the first line of defense program. Provide support and guidance to the business units in the complaint and issue management escalation process. Participate on cross-functional teams and evaulate the effectiveness of current claims/complaints practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job may have supervisory responsibilities or may lead the work of others.

Minimum Education

Bachelor or master’s degree in Business Administration.

Experience

Five Years of related experience working with auditing. Knowledge of project coordination, identification of business needs, work plan, budget control, time management, resource allocation, team management and status reports. Must demonstrate leadership, logic, and reasoning skills.
