Cashier/ Barista/ Ayudante De Cocina

Our client, a vibrant coffee shop restaurant in Viejo San Juan, PR, is looking for cashiers, prep cooks, and baristas to join its team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and engaged.

Responsibilities

CASHIER:
Greet customers entering and leaving the business
Maintain a clean and tidy work area
Accurately process all cash and credit payments
Provide exceptional customer service

PREP COOK:

In the absence of the Kitchen Manager, you should review the food assortment on the floor and discuss the insufficiencies with the Administrator or Shift Leader.
Execute the tasks performed by the Kitchen Manager.
Maintain the kitchen and warehouse area in a perfect state of cleanliness and organization, including large equipment.

Make sure that refrigerators and appliances are functional, report any malfunction in the kitchen area and follow up on the repair.
Requisitos:
Proven working experience as a cashier, customer service, restaurant industry and prep cook.
Basic mathematical skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to listen and communicate effectively

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 26 per week
