The Chemical Analyst II is responsible for the testing of Raw Materials, In:Process, Stability, Process Validation samples, Method Transfer and Finished Goods samples in accordance with internal procedures or compendia requirements. In addition, interprets and documents results in a clear, concise and accurate manner. Also, detects and reports all testing problems to area Supervisor in a clear and concise manner. And performs troubleshooting to laboratory instruments.
Qualifications
Requirements:
:
Bachelor Degree in Natural Sciences with major in Chemistry.
:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Quality Operations Laboratory.
:
Possess a PR valid Chemist License, preferable.
:
Good oral and written skills. Must be fully bilingual (English and Spanish).
:
Knowledge in cGMP's practices, Corporate policies/guidelines, USP/NF, EP, JP.
:
Computer literate (Word, Excel, others).
:
Must have analytical abilities and analytical instrumentation experience and knowledge such as but not limited to: GC, HPLC, AA, UV:VIS, Dissolution, Karl Fisher, FTR, LIMS, Empower and other laboratory instruments.

Experienced writing Laboratory investigations and writing SOPs, preferred.
