GENERAL SUMMARYThe Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a senior executive tasked with overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions, ensures the company has effective operational and financial procedures in place by enforcing customer experience. The COO will work directly with department and portfolio leaders and will report directly to the CEO.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESYour duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Managing the day-to-day administrative and operations functions for various portfolio entities.Participate in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a strategic partner.Participate on the organization's financial and/or budget planning, assist and asses on efforts to maximize investments, or increase efficiency.Assist on managing department leaders and managers by assigning or delegating responsibilities.Analyze operations to evaluate the performance of a portfolio company or its staff in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvements, or policy changes among others.Be an advisory from the operations perspective on any contracts into which the corporation may enter.Preparing timely and accurate financial performance reports.Lead stakeholders to encourage maximum performance and dedication.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred) required or 10 to 15 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in senior financial managerial. position Knowledge in federal, state and PR regulations. Intermediate Knowledge with Microsoft Office programs.
