ABOUT THE ROLE: The BSC Watchman Clinical Specialist will be responsible for providing clinical support during procedures at accounts. They will focus on lab presence and case coverage and ensure the delivery of safe outcomes. Individuals will exhibit strong clinical excellence, stay current on products, programs and competitive knowledge, and be able to face up to program situations quickly, directly and without hesitation. Candidate will have experience and be comfortable in the hospital and office-based settings, and be creative in their problem solving. The Clinical Specialist will develop key relationships through frequent and routine customer visits, product demonstrations, product in-services, and procedural observation. Additionally, candidate will build and maintain constructive strategic relationships in key accounts and be able to take actions that are consistent with the stated organizational goals. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Educates customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by delivering presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals) to keep customers abreast of the latest product and therapy. Work with sales management to proactively identify strategic initiatives that improve the effectiveness of the area and organization. Collaborates with sales management in assisting to achieve sales targets for the division. Meets with existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate and train them on how company products can help them to achieve their goals. Develops relationships with hospital personnel at all levels including staff, physicians, and administrators to make new contacts to assist with the facilitation of future sales. Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions Monitors strategies outlined by the sales plan of action for the area. Develops relationships with key referring physicians, external fellows, and other key physicians to promote market development and growth. On-call duties may be necessary to support coverage. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR: BA/BS in related field plus minimum 3 years' experience ideally in Medical Devices calling on Cardiology, Cath/EP lab or similar hospital based sales experience with progressive record of accomplishment demonstrating increased levels of accomplishment and success. Must have a technical aptitude; be able to discuss & explain complex technical product information. Must be able to take rotational call on a 24/7/365 basis with a sales team. Must be able to work flexible hours, complete extensive training program. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree Work experience in Structural Heart/Atrial Fibrillation.
