GENCO General Contractors is seeking to hire a Full-Time Construction Clerk for some job sites on the Puerto Rico metropolitan area to assist Project Manager on clerical tasks for construction contracts in Puerto Rico. The selected candidate will be working from assigned job sites on Puerto Rico metropolitan area. Must be willing to travel island-wide between job sites.
This position requires a combination of proactiveness and a basic construction technical knowledge. The candidate should have a demonstrable ability to manage many clerical tasks effective and simultaneously. Must be capable of multitasking and managing their time in a well manner. This position require that candidate has excellent written and verbal communication skills. Selected person must have a solid understanding of business and operational fundamentals on federal and states government procedures.
The Construction Clerk position is responsible of:
· Manage and maintain project documentation such as building permits, plans and budgets.
· Gather physical and digital documentation and organize them on electronic files.
· Responsible of submit any documentation to state or federal government agency for the project.
· Assist the Project Manager with the retrieve documentation by internal company departments.
· Must be attention to details oriented and able to work with significant workload.
· Procore software knowledge (Preferred)
· Must be tech oriented.
· Intermediate knowledge on Microsoft Office softwares (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
· Self-motivation, self-direction and organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Clerical: 1 year (Preferred)
construction: 3 years (Preferred)
