GENCO General Contractors is seeking to hire a Full-Time Construction Project Manager for their Aguadilla, PR office to manage a portfolio of construction contracts in Puerto Rico and the Continental US. The selected candidate will be working from our Construction Division Office in Aguadilla, PR. Must be willing to travel island-wide and to the job sites in the Continental US.
This position requires an experienced project manager possessing well-developed people and project management skills and sound business judgment. The candidate should have a demonstrable record of success on small to medium scale projects, strong leadership and management skills along with effective decision-making capabilities.
JOB FUNCTIONS
The Construction Project Manager position is responsible of:
· Supervision of all phases of construction,
· Develop project schedules and execute according to plan,
· Review schedules, updates, and change orders,
· Responsible for schedules and execution of work according to plan, review schedules, updates, and change orders,
· Responsible for the coordination between design firms and contractors,
· Develop and execute a project strategy that meets the project’s required performance, schedule and profitability targets and work diligently to meet or exceed those targets.
· Mange key project management processes such as scope management, supply chain management, change management, risk management, etc.
· Serve as a proactive leader and problem solver addressing complex issues and situations as they arise.
· Manage and enhance relationships with the customer, consultants, suppliers and trades.
· Track project progress, variances, and recovery, identify trends, mitigate potential cost overruns and provide accurate revenue forecasts.
· Ensure project health, safety and environmental standards meet or exceed legislated requirements and company policy.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· PMP Certification Preferred
· Project management computer software knowledge, Procore preferred
· Self-motivation, self-direction and organizational skills

Commercial and Federal Construction PM: 6 years (Preferred)

Bachelor's (Required)

License:
State Licensed (Preferred)
