Construction Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of construction management processes. This role involves managing project schedules, budgets, and teams to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards. The Construction Project Manager will play a pivotal role in liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project execution.

Responsibilities

* Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing
* Develop detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 and Construction management software
* Oversee project budgeting, cost estimating, and financial tracking utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating tools
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation
* Manage procurement processes and contract negotiations with vendors and subcontractors
* Monitor construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
* Prepare progress reports, change orders, and documentation for stakeholders
* Utilize project management software for tracking milestones, resource allocation, and issue resolution
* Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope, budget, and schedule constraints

Skills

* Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, HeavyBid
* Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project scheduling, and contract management
* Experience with construction site operations and coordination of multiple stakeholders
* Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
* Demonstrated expertise in construction management principles and practices
* Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, teams, and vendors
* Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and regulations
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams efficiently
