Descripción del Empleo:
Naturaleza del Trabajo: Responsible for providing/performing accounting and administrative services in a manner consistent with established and prescribed standards (GAAP) and internal procedures to ensure overall efficiency and accuracy. Mortgage Loan Servicing involves collecting principal, interest, and escrow funds for taxes and insurance on the mortgaged property from the borrowers and paying these taxes and premiums; paying P&I to the investors of the loans; and in many if not most cases advancing uncollected P&I payments to the mortgage loan investors. Finally, servicing also includes supervising foreclosures in the event of remedied defaults and performing all related accounting and reporting activities.
Requisitos:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
•Experience in Mortgage Banking and Servicing Mortgage Portfolios.
•Familiarity with US GAAP reporting requirements.
•Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
•Critical thinking ability.
•Detail-oriented with strong written and oral communications skills.
•Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
•The ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff.
