Contract Position Technical Writer

Descripción del Empleo:
Project Location: Work under this task order will be performed on site at the EL Yunque NF Forest in a combination of other locations. This work is partially eligible to be performed remotely.
Tasks/Duties:
Gain access and maintain safety related databases along with maintaining confidentially as related to PII and HEPA.
Edit and create documents related to Safety and Fire Management.
Draft communications for the EYNF employees and government entities related to safety and Fire Management.
Meet with employees and partners to gather and disseminate information and needs.
Draft and/or edit emails, briefing papers and After Action Reviews.
Prepare and assist in the delivery of presentations and keynotes.
Participate and coordinate local FS safety meetings.
Document and bring forward any identified safety need or issue.
Requisitos:
Work Schedule: The hours of work will be on a Flexed Fixed schedule of Sunday through Saturday, Not to Exceed (NTE) 40 hours per week. Work day shall not exceed 10 hours on any particular day. Overtime or overtime pay is not authorized.

Technical writing experience is a requirement. Safety experience is a plus.
