Responsibilities:
Oversee all accounting and financial systems to ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and adherence to industry standards.
Maintain complete financial records and internal controls in line with gaming commission regulations and company policies.
Provide timely and insightful financial reports and operational metrics to senior management.
Manage the budgeting process, including preparation, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance evaluation.
Supervise core accounting functions: accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and debt payments.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and gaming authority reporting and tax requirements.
Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
Conduct financial analyses to support capital investments, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
Lead and develop the accounting team, promoting a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Strong knowledge of casino accounting practices, gaming regulations, and compliance standards.
Advanced proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., payroll, and casino management platforms).
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a high-security, compliance-focused environment.
Read, write and speak English & Spanish fluently.
