What Transportation contributes to Cardinal Health

Transportation is responsible for the movement of materials and products between suppliers, manufacturing, warehousing, and the customer. Management of transportation assets and systems to gain greater service, cost efficiency and optimization of processes.

Accountabilities

Process imports and exports.
Maintain department documentation in compliance with regulatory agencies.
Create transactions in ERP.
FedEx and UPS coordination.
Maintain files updated and according to record keeping guidelines.
Responsible for creating shipping labels.
Interact in a daily basis with suppliers and drivers to track inventory in transit.
Manage admission and withdraws of FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone).
Must have sense of urgency in order to attend and resolve requests.
Excellent Customer Service Skills.

Qualifications

HS Diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
A minimum of 1+ year of experience in related field is preferred.
Experience in an Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) is preferred.
Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level) is required.
Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Teams, Outlook) is a plus.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) Written and Verbal is preferred.
Work Schedule Monday to Friday 5:00am to 2:00pm.
Lift weight between up to 60 pounds is required.
