Job Summary: The Puerto Rico Toyota Recall Manager will be focused on building and maintaining a highly motivated and results driven team representing our client to facilitate the completion of specific Toyota/Lexus vehicles needing repair on the island of Puerto Rico This position will manage and provide daily oversight of the MarketSource Recall Specialists based in Puerto Rico and will report to the Program Director. Essential Functions: Provide daily oversight, mentoring and coaching to Recall Specialists in Puerto Rico, focused on achieving targeted Takata airbag canvassing, appointment and closure metrics Work closely with the MarketSource Program Director, MarketSource internal teams, Toyota General Office and the Toyota Distributor teams to deliver results; constantly monitor program performance to objectives Conduct, weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews with Toyota/Toyota Distributor stakeholders Partner with the Business Analyst to create and deliver impactful reporting related to team's canvassing, appointments and closures Quickly escalate any issues to Toyota stakeholders to insure awareness and potential resolution Develop and implement processes and measures to drive performance Ensure maximum utilization of necessary tools and reporting portals related to maximizing route planning as well as proper activity and Takata case closure documentation, for all Recall Specialists in assigned geography Supervisory or Management Responsibility/Decision Making Level: Manages and directs staff including recruitment, selection, and development to achieve Company goals and objectives. Ensures effective control of targeted results and takes corrective actions to guarantee that achievement of objectives fall within designated guidelines. Establishes and maintains business relationships with key stakeholders and strategic partners within the client's organization. Minimum Education and/or Experience: BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience preferably in business administration or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive fixed operations. Requisite Abilities and/or Skills: Documented track record of successfully managing and mentoring remote field teams Understanding of Automotive Dealership fixed operations preferred; auto repair experience a plus Demonstrated leadership, motivational and influencing skills Ability to create and deliver presentations to small and large groups Ability to multitask in a very fast paced environment Experience developing, implementing and managing programs and projects, with successful outcomes Excellent written, oral and presentation skills Proficient in MS Office Willingness to travel overnight (approximately 2-3 weeks per month) Willingness to work an irregular schedule (some nights and weekends) Bilingual English/Spanish required Additional Job Requirements: Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, standing and moving items. Performs additional job duties as assigned. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds independently.
