As the CRM Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for strategy and implementation of customer re-engagement. This will primarily be email marketing to start, but based on your input could expand to SMS, phone, and push notifications as well.

Ad Practitioners is at an exciting inflection point. In the month of April, over 25M people received financial news and advice through our two primary brands - Money.com and ConsumersAdvocate.org. We want to take this massive reach and create deeper relationships with those users.

You'll be working with members from marketing, product management, editorial, sales and even our CEO (we're still a startup!) to build our email marketing campaigns from the ground up. This will include planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's first email marketing strategy.

If you have been frustrated with the legacy software you were given or grown tired of optimizing for incremental change, this is a chance to make something of your own. We'll rely on your experience working with a variety of email automation platforms to select a platform that meets our needs. You'll guide our graphic design team to create beautiful email templates that engage and delight our consumers.

You should have at least a couple years of experience in the personal finance space, enjoy the collaboration process, have a great mix of judgement, creative thinking, and a growth mindset. You are a scrappy team player, who will actively pitch-in wherever necessary and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

You're also a logical thinker who has a passion for data and wants to learn the technical back-end systems to help support campaign development and execution. Ultimately, you're someone that wants to grow with us and elevate our marketing in an efficient, automated manner.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the creation, management and optimization of all communications to our customers – specifically focused on email, but leveraging other channels to nurture and improve consumer engagement.
Understand current program goals and business targets; offering proactive, thoughtful plans to close gaps and increase growth.
Ensure campaigns are operationalized in a manner that enables performance tracking and analysis
Understanding best practices and industry-related compliance laws - CAN-SPAM compliant
Test, iterate, share results, repeat!

Requirements:
5+ years of CRM related experience, with a heavy focus on email marketing campaigns
Bachelor's degree
Experience managing complex projects from conceptualization to completion. Bonus points if you've built an email marketing program from scratch before.
Managed complex segmentation strategies and customer lifecycle programs
Excellent written communication skills
Some personal or professional experience with one or more finance product categories (eg. personal finance, mortgages, insurance, etc.)
