IEM is looking for a Full Time - Data Analyst & Reporting Specialist to join our team.
Primary Location:
* Live within a commutable distance to Guaynabo and San Juan, PR.
* Work in an Office Environment with a team.
Travel Requirements:
* This position may require travel to complete work assignments or attend meetings.
Essential Functions:
* Assist in definition and staging of data to support SIT, Regression and UAT testing activities for implementation of automated meter infrastructure (AMI) and electric utility systems integration.
* Support development of processes to move and integrate data between enterprise applications to include, but not limited to data Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) operations, scheduling and scripting batch processes, telemetry data handling, streaming data handling and archive storage.
* Support development operations (DevOps) processes to program, test and deploy software programs and scripting; load or clone virtual machine or container DEV/TEST environments; deploy changes to environments.
* Support developing analytics programs that validate, aggregate, display and report unstructured, relational and time-series data.
* Support general requests for data design, documentation, development and validation activities.
* Data Cleaning and preparation for migration to UAT and Production environments.
* Prepare electronic reports and presentations to communicate the insights and findings from the data to the project team and stakeholders.
* Develop reports as required for the AMI project team and integrations.
* Participate in discovery and design workshops as needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Follow all policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Experience: Two (2) years' IT experience supporting relational, unstructured and or time-series databases.
* One (1) year experience with SIT, Regression and UAT testing activities.
* One (1) year experience developing and scheduling automated processes on Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
* One (1) year experience with customer service, remote sensor data integration and/or order management applications.
* Two (2) years' experience developing analysis, ETL and data processing applications with GIS, structured and unstructured data using SQL, Python, and/or R.
* Two (2) years' experience with MS Office, including Teams and Excel.
* Degree: Bachelor's degree in related fields.
* Recent training in development of software for data analytics, sensor data integration and/or ETL processing.
* Bilingual: Fluent English and Spanish verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Electric Utility experience preferred.
* Experience with Itron, Oracle CC&B or other electric utility systems and applications.
* Understanding of the typical electric utility applications and their connection to each other (CIS, GIS, OMS, etc.).
Additional Information:
* Office Locations: Often, these offices are either owned by the client we work with or by IEM. All candidates are expected to follow any rules and regulations of the office in which they are required to work for that project.
* Physical Requirements: During site assessments you may be asked to remain in a stationary period, sit, stand, bend, grab, or kneel; you should also be able to life/carry between 10-30Lbs approximately and have 20/20 corrected vision.
