Designing and implementing databases in accordance to end user’s information needs and views. Senior member of a team responsible for day-to-day maintenance of a large application of Web/Java applications and databases Windows based web & database applications support, multi-location server/application design and operations of the Hosted environment. SAAS Application software upgrades and migrations. SAAS Application configuration and management. Monitoring SAAS applications, databases and other services. Staging and testing of new releases, new customers and new applications. Contribute to design enhancements of application infrastructure architecture to support business growth. Efficient deployment of new applications base installations. First line of response to troubleshooting new and existing systems/applications. Reporting the performance levels of the application, databases and Windows systems. Leadership and growth of technical staff. Work with department managers and internal teams to analyze and resolve problems associated with technical issues in the Hosted environment. Ensure company’s policies and standards are followed. Change control principles. Reporting SLA status principles. Propose methodologies and best practices for delivering outstanding service. Must be available for 24x7 support in accordance with the needs and defined customer SLA’s. Travel may be required. TRAINING & EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 5 years’ experience as a Database Administrator. Healthcare experience, preferred in PBM. Technically fluent in BI and Analytics applications. Extensive database experience with MS SQL. Hands-on DB and Server troubleshooting experience. Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications. Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools. Experience in supporting proprietary software with a database in the backend is a plus. Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. Working experience with a managed release process and quality assurance disciplines.
