Designated Inspector

*Summary*

* The project focuses on the revitalization of the Public Square in the Municipality, aiming to enhance accessibility, sustainability, and aesthetics. Key improvements include the installation of solar posts, urban furniture, trash cans, ADA-compliant ramps, replacement of cobblestones and selective mosaic installations, rehabilitation of the fountain, and painting. Adjacent sidewalks will also be upgraded to meet ADA standards.

*Responsibilities*

* Monitor the General Contractor's performance and compliance with construction contract documents.
* Conduct site inspections throughout all phases of the construction project and generate punch lists for deficiencies.
* Ensure the General Contractor submits all required documentation in a timely manner.
* Oversee daily project progress and ensure all work complies with contract specifications.
* Emphasize construction quality and enforce site safety standards.
* Be present on-site whenever the General Contractor or subcontractors are performing work, including weekends.
* Observe and document all work performed by contractors.

*Requirements*

* Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
* Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Project Manager in similar projects within the last five (5) years.
* Licensed professional engineer or registered architect in Puerto Rico.
* At least three (3) years of experience in sustainable building design and construction, with familiarity in a Green Building Standard.
