Summary: Reporting to the Vice President, Digital Applications, the EA will play a key role in formulating strategies, with a specific focus on process optimization and operational functionality. This individual will work with technology leadership to modernize systems, implement cutting edge solutions and push the limits of improvements and innovations. The EA will improve efficiency and effectiveness of the team while leading through change as Weber leverages next generation capabilities. Responsibilities: Lead the design and information architecture and roadmap of analytic platforms that support the business needs. Develop multi-year roadmaps, provide the vision and work with individual IT leaders to translate this into tactical engineering blue prints. Improving efficiency and effectiveness of Weber’s technology platforms including influencing and establishing best practices through solid design, decisions, and tools. Set goals, strategy and oversee initiatives across multiple platforms. Utilize in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, software engineering, data engineering and data science to define target architectures, patterns and automation processes. Provide technical leadership while developing and maintaining relationships with IT and Business leaders. Create presentations to illustrate EA delivery plans, concepts, and prototypes, summarizing marketplace and competitive strategy. Ability to present to IT leaders and technical decision makers while providing appropriate thought leadership and creative insights when needed. Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to execute on deliverables. Represent Weber at technical meetups, external conferences. Experience with hands-on Enterprise/Solution Architecture. Must have a hands-on technical background i.e. software development, systems development, etc. Must be highly organized with demonstrated experience simultaneously managing multiple architecture projects. Experience creating PowerPoint Decks and other documents to communicate plans for systems architecture and other technical point of views to Executive Leadership. Skills, Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 10+ years of relevant technology experience. 3+ years of experience working with cloud and data capabilities. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Manufacturing industry experience. Experience with software development, cloud computing services and infrastructure application development platforms and work in contemporary programming languages, systems, or design. Experience building enterprise applications using modern architecture techniques and cloud platforms, SAP and Web technologies preferred. Proven developer that has risen through the ranks. ü Knowledge/experience with Agile development processes. Hands on experience of migrating legacy applications to modern cloud-based applications. Understanding of how to architect and design applications to run optimally within virtual environments. Experience in defining architectural and design solutions to address Cybersecurity and software security issues for software applications. Experience with enterprise application development. Ability to explain complex new technology and concepts to people with limited knowledge. Strong business acumen and attention to detail with a consistent record of delivering results.
