We are looking for a qualified Digital Media Specialist to join our team. You will lead our marketing efforts using new media and digital tools.
If you know how to creatively handle various online marketing tools, like websites, podcasts and blogs, this position is for you. You will work with different teams to coordinate our marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.
What does a Digital Media Specialist do?
Digital Media Specialist are usually responsible for assisting Digital Media Managers/Account Managers in designing and implementing company's digital media plans and strategies and achieving digital marketing goals and objectives.
Principal Responsibilities:
Provide recommendations, strategies and tactics designed to generate leads and improve business performance for our clients
Interact regularly and work closely with clients and fulfillment team to ensure seamless delivery of marketing campaigns
Be a “point guard” distributing information and assignments to internal and external stakeholders to optimize performance of online marketing programs
Design digital media campaigns according to business goals
Coordinate and manage the creation of all digital content such as website, blogs, press releases and podcasts, infographics, videos etc.
Establish our web presence
Maintain and manage all our social media channels
Suggest and implement direct marketing methods
Suggest strategies and methods for improvement
Regularly track and get insights into competitors' strategies
Stay up to date with digital media technologies and latest trends
Stay up to date with digital technology trends
Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies
Identifies content and tools for the development of digital campaigns. Ensures understanding of regulatory guidelines for digital engagements.
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
Demonstrable experience leading and managing marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
In this role, you will be responsible for managing Google Display Ads and Google Search Ads efforts at various stages of campaign lifecycle, as well as other channels like Social and Native
You will have the opportunity to manage all aspects of the ad campaigns
From opportunity forecasting, to campaign launch and scaling campaigns to full potential, this position will touch on every level of the process of campaign growth
Education, Training and/or Experience Required:
(1) One year of experience supporting a large and diverse client base
Experience with Mono, Google AdWords, Facebook for Business and Email Marketing
1 - 3 years’ experience in online marketing including SEO, SEM, social marketing, etc.
Strategic insight, particularly in relation to helping small businesses (SMB) grow
Experience with Basecamp and/or CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Equivalent Apple software’s (Numbers, Pages, Keynote)
Good knowledge of Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Audacity, or other media editing software
Experience with content management
BSc Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or relevant field
Broad-based knowledge of online marketing tactics
Proficient in Google Drive Products (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Forms, Etc.)
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Products
Full understanding of Social Media Platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Google AdWords and analytics, square space, etc.)
Writing experience with email marketing, social media posts, blogs, and other online marketing copy
Experience working with influencers to improve digital presence
