Join us and start doing your lifes best work.(sm)Primary Responsibilities:Ensure quality customer service for internal and external customers with focus on needs identification, problem solving and partnering with billing and eligibility specialistsMonitor delegated customer service issues to ensure timely and accurate resolutionUse appropriate communication techniques when responding to customers, particularly in stressful situationsInform and educate new customers regarding billing / invoicing set up and billing / payment proceduresPlace outgoing phone calls to complete follow - up on customer service requests as necessaryInteract with customers continuously by phone and in writingDevelop knowledge of our various products and multiple levels of benefits within each product in order to best assist our providers / customersYoull be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. ENGLISH PROFICIENT ASSESSMENT WILL BE REQUIRED AFTER APPLICATION Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED (or higher)1 years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems OR 1 years of experience in an office setting environment using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties1 year of working experience with Microsoft Tools: Microsoft Word (creating memos, writing), Microsoft Outlook (setting calendar appointments, email) and Microsoft Excel (creating spreadsheets, filtering, navigating reports)Ability to work 40 hours / week during standard business operating hours Monday - Friday from 11am - 9pm ASTFully Bilingual Spanish/English proficiencyPreferred Qualifications:Healthcare ExperienceMedical terminology knowledgePrevious Call Center ExperiencePrevious Data Entry ExperienceCareers with Optum.
