The Customer & Account Management organization plays a critical role at Collins Aerospace both internally and externally. Provides leadership and builds partnership at site across all levels of the organization to foster EH&S culture of continuous improvement. Partners with site leadership and supervision to ensure EH&S regulatory compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives and managing change to ensure minimum disruption and unexpected consequences. Directing, coordinating, and planning essential building services such as maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal, security, and reception. Planning best allocation and utilization of space and resources for current premises. Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise; establish and support timely incident investigation process to prevent reoccurrences. Works on cross-functional projects that interface with other groups, external to and within the site. Ensures timely risk assessments and adequate controls for EH&S processes; oversees comprehensive EH&S training program; maintains readiness for oversight audits (assurance reviews, program evaluations, compliance reviews, OSHA VPP, ISO 14001, etc.) Builds synergies between EH&S and Facilities and Equipment Management for efficient deployment of resources to achieve mutual goals. Provides timely information and guidance to the site EH&S leadership team, site EH&S committee and Sub-committees, including EH&S performance trends and root cause corrective actions for injuries and near misses. Drives action plans to meet and exceed aggressive EH&S and Facilities/Equipment Management goals. Assists in development and management of budget, staffing, and or business/operations results. Provide technical expertise and consultation to the site's EH&S management committee on environmental sustainability initiatives to minimize water use, greenhouse gas generation, hazardous waste generation and increase recycling rate. Must have experience in conducting technical assessments of processes and equipment in a manufacturing environment, and both factory and office ergonomic assessments. Support the site's ACE performance, activities, and maturity progression. Be able to work independently and hands-on, and yet also possess strong team working and leadership skills; able to work effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization with engineers, technicians, contractors, vendors, end-user customers, and executives. Basic Qualifications: 10 years' of Managerial Experience 5 years of EH&S Experience Experience Managing Facilities Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills in English & Spanish Preferred Qualifications: ACE/Lean/Six Sigma (Certification Preferred) Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering MA/MS degree in Engineering Nothing matters more to Collins Aerospace than our strong ethical and safety commitments.
