Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design SME to join our project management team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the electrical design aspects of multiple project s , ensuring that all designs meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
This role involves close collaboration with civil design engineers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and review electrical design plans for multiple projects.
Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with civil design engineers and construction teams to integrate electrical and civil designs.
Conduct detailed calculations and simulations to validate electrical design concepts.
Provide technical guidance and support to project managers and other team members.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
Identify and resolve design and implementation issues.
Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends in electrical engineering.
Qualifications: Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design for construction projects.
Skills: Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, control, and instrumentation.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with renewable energy projects .
Project management experience.
Certifications : Required: Valid Driver's License .
P referred : Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) , PROCORE user Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Lean Six Sigma Certification.
LEED AP.
Language : Proficiency in both English and Spanish is mandatory.
Working Conditions: Full-time position, with travel to project sites as required .
The position may involve working in office and field environments, with a focus on construction sites.
Ability to work on-site and in potentially challenging outdoor conditions during installation and construction phases.
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; make repetitive hand movement and fine coordination in the performance of daily duties; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
