Job DescriptionDiversified Electrical Technologies is seeking to add an electrical field supervisor/manager to watch over multiple jobs. This job will work with the office and the project managers to ensure company policy, quality control and proper installation with the field workers.
Typical Task
- Review schedules with project managers and general contractor
- Set manpower requirements for jobs and assign workers
- Walk jobs for quality control, safety and manpower requirements
- Provide field workers support on code and installation questions
- Coordinate with inspectors on code issues
- Provide training for field workers
- Evaluate field workers for pay rates
- Work with the project managers for job site scheduling of resources and materials
- Tool Management
- Review GPS data
- Review timecards
- Review daily reports and 3 week look ahead schedules
- Receive training on new equipment, installation methods, materials, safety and NEC
- Assist office with gathering work order billing as needed
- Interview hire and fire field personnel as needed
Typical Experience
· Minimum 10 years’ experience hands on in commercial and industrial electrical installations
· Minimum 7 years’ experience in construction management ( project manager, large job foreman, field supervisor)
· Current unlimited electrical license
· Osha 30
· Full understanding of the National Electrical Code – able to interpret and explain
· Computer Experience – Microsoft Office minimum
· Experience in creating schedules and managing manpower schedules
· Experience in creating material list and managing material delivery schedules
· Able to perform and oversee employee training for the NEC and installation
· Able to create goals and training program that are measurable for employees
· Able to travel out of town as required based of project locations

65% in the field walking jobs, training, evaluating, etc..
35% in the office with PMs coordinating schedules for manpower and materials, developing training, performing classroom training, reviewing time and field paperwork
