As the Email Marketing & Analytics Lead, you will be responsible for building our email marketing campaigns from the ground up. You will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s first email marketing strategy.
We’ll rely on your experience working with a variety of email automation platforms to select a platform that meets our needs. You’ll guide our graphic design team to create beautiful email templates that engage and delight our consumers. Your deep, working knowledge of financial products and services helps you empathize with consumers as they navigate getting out of debt to repairing their credit.
From running email marketing campaigns from end-to-end, to managing email databases, and tracking and reporting KPI’s, this will be the first time we engage with our over 2 million monthly site visitors and your efforts will set the foundation for our email customer engagement strategy moving forward.

Responsibilities:
Manage, write, design and implement an extensive email marketing campaign to ensure business goals are met and emails have a high open rate and CTR
Create organic email databases for lead generation. Carry out segmentation of databases to implement remarketing strategies
Manage trigger email campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle to maximize engagement
Excellent understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics such as sender score, deliverability and sender reputation.
Track and report on KPI and sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts
Must be able to know what resonates with certain audiences to grow email list subscriptions & segmentation of lists
Design and implement desktop and mobile-friendly HTML email templates
Ensure prompt and accurate communication with great timing and frequency with clients to minimize unsubscribers
Understanding best practices and industry-related compliance laws - CAN-SPAM compliant
Purge non-deliverable email addresses and opt-outs
Coordinate and monitor the maintenance, integrity, and security of several databases
Requirements:
5+ years of experience managing email marketing campaigns
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field
Experience growing, engaging with, and analyzing performance of a large (50,000+) email marketing database
Experience building an email marketing campaign from scratch
Excellent written communication skills
Proficient in setting up and leveraging email marketing automation platforms (eg. Klavio, Manychat, Marketo etc.)
Proficient in Google Analytics, HTML/CSS, A/B Testing, and other content management systems
Proficient in data analytics to determine what worked and what didn’t by looking at the data and suggesting improvements
Some personal or professional experience with one or more of our finance product categories (eg. personal finance, mortgages, insurance, etc.)
Knowledge of SEO/SEM
Strong project management skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Able to work under tight deadlines
At least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past that yielded results
