Engineer

Job Description Summary Under general supervision, provides characterization of process optimization strategies and/or troubleshooting of operational issues in the operations, manufacturing, pilot plant or capital projects environment. Applies basic engineering principles to the design and implementation of system modifications, experiments and/or capital projects. Organizes, analyzes and presents interpretation of results for operational issues or engineering projects of minor scope and complexity. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering & 2 years of Engineering experience. Upstream/ Cell Culture expertise (mammalian cell culture preferred) Mammalian cell harvest technology knowledge Knowledgeable in equipment such as different type of bioreactors, centrifuges, tangential flow filtration, incubators, cell counters, etc. Technology Transfer (TT) experience Process validation/qualification experience Experience drafting technical documents Experience monitoring manufacturing cell culture processes (operational & performance parameters: O2, pH, temperature, cell density, cell viability, etc.) Experience managing quality systems such as non-conformances and change controls Company Description PRPDG has been providing top-notch consulting services based on decades of experience.
