Position Description R esponsible for the material flow in the manufacturing area assigned. Responsible for the integrity of the manufacturing policies and procedures including but not limited to: quantity and quality of materials, tools and supplies in the manufacturing area and/ or RIP. Performs cycle counts activity and inventory reconciliation according with the Inventory Control Program. Performs various manufacturing duties and maintains an expected level of attendance, attitude, and teamwork Maintains schedules for material requirements and availability for the manufacture of industrial and commercial products to support production control. Compiles records concerning quantity, cost, and type of material received, shipped, in stock or inventory, and/or in production. Expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules. Assists in determining possible and actual shortages. May initiate action to correct these deficiencies. Uses knowledge of production, procurement, and engineering departments to alert proper authorities regarding potential problems and appropriate remedial action. Estimates and logs production rate and time expenditures and may be required to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates. May be responsible for production support engineering with respect to analysis of customer returns; and optimizing device production relative to cost constrain. Position Responsibilities Plans and coordinates material, equipment and documentation availability to be able to comply with production schedule. Cleans equipment materials and work stations to comply with manufacturing processes. Supports team members in any arising issues. Develops, understands and applies GMP's managing system of traceability and documentation. Complies with company policies, procedures and rules. Responsible of reporting any incident that may affect manufacturing operations activities. Supports physical inventory activities. Executes cycle count program. Responsible for inventory control in process. Reports and reconciles inventory discrepancies. Handles non-conformance material. Performs other related duties as assigned. Quality Responsibilities Reports any observed or informed process and/or product non-conformities to the Supervisor for action and resolution. Reports any complaint regarding a Medtronic product to the Supervisor. Complies with all the requirements in the operational procedures at the area of responsibility in order to meet the requirements of all applicable Quality System Regulations (e.g.: FDA Part 820 Quality System Regulation, ISO 13485 Quality Standard, R-PAL (Japanese QSR's). EHS Responsibilities Acknowledge and maintain commitment with the EHS Policy. Participate in the development of EHS improvement projects. Participate actively in the EHS programs to achieve the objectives and targets defined for the area. Minimum Education High School Diploma or equivalent Basic Qualifications Background Educational: Business Administration or related field Experience: o Intermediate Level: 3 Years with High School Diploma or equivalent or 0 Years with Associates or equivalent Exposure to manufacturing environment Skills Interpersonal Relations Quality and Results Oriented Computer Literate Basic oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English Desired/ Preferred Qualifications Background Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or electronic industry Skills Problem Solving Teamwork Communications Continues Improvement Basic Mathematics Working Conditions Mental Components : Capacity to calculate, classify, compare, coordinate, copy, edit, evaluate, interview, instruct, read, observe, organize, plan, compile, select, request and document.
