POSITION TITLE: Finance and Human Resources Clerk
The Finance and Human Resources Clerk assistant assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: Invoice (processing, registration and issuing of checks). Processing of payments received from customers, to assign control number to remittances and identify invoices paid. Maintain integrity of the Nav modules in everything concerning the processing of checks to suppliers. This includes data entry, reconciliations, report preparation, document archiving. Keep remittance control updated throughout the month. Process assigned journal entries and those related to the monthly closing of the A/P, A/R and GL modules. This position will also be responsible of payroll processing, development, benefits, among others.
Requirements:
· Coding and analysis of invoices and check request
· Obtain approval for invoice and checks
· Invoice posting and check request in A / P
· Print and verify checks
· Process fixed obligation payments on days 1, 15 and 30
· Process weekly and monthly fixed payments
· Data entry in system and periodic reconciliation
· Reconciliation and closing of the A/P
· Assist and provide data to external auditors
· Print and analyze payroll reports and prepare journal entries
· Complete monthly analysis of assigned accounts of the general ledger
· Pre-process payments received from customers and assign control number to each remittance received
· Perform general archiving tasks
· ADP payroll knowledge
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, Administration or related field
· 5 years of experience in finance/ accounting and or HR
· Strong analytical skills
· Advance MS Excel and Power Point proficiency
· Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and Spanish)
· Ability to demonstrate good judgment make appropriate recommendations
· Strong mathematical skills
Ability to work with changing priorities and tight schedule.
