General Description
Financial analysis, compliance, and asset management matters related to Multifamily and New Markets Tax Credit (“NMTC”) transactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Structuring and underwriting analysis of Multifamily (defined as rental housing projects with more than 5 units) and NMTC transactions, which may include financing for the acquisition, rehabilitation and/or construction of a project, permanent financing, and/or operating business financing. Support throughout the underwriting process of submitting a proposed transaction for evaluation, including analyzing the project’s financial documentation, performing financial analysis to determine loan structure, and completing the Credit memorandum. Ensure all documentation required for closing is current and on file. Run the closing process of a loan. Provide support to the asset management and compliance matters related to the NMTC portfolio.
In addition, the Financial Analyst would provide support in the administration of the loan portfolios. Ensure facilities have the appropriate risk classification. Provide support in the construction disbursement process, including evaluating disbursement certifications and collecting disbursement approvals in case the certification meets all requirements. Attend meetings with potential and existing clients. Identify potential transactions and update pipeline lists with potential transactions.
Other responsibilities include responding to audit requirements, support in responding to internal reporting requirements, including portfolio analysis; ensuring that all documents of transactions and potential transactions are kept on file, and providing support in the execution of the asset management and compliance matters related to NMTC transactions.

Bachelor's Degree
Experience
At least three years of related experience in financial analysis.
