Job Summary: This position is responsible for assuring of the compliance with all statutory requirements for the Thermo King manufacturing operations in Puerto Rico. Responsibilities: Prepare and coordinate the Settlements and Dividend payments. Prepare and coordinate with Corp the journal entries to the proper recognition of the Settlement and Dividend payments. Assurance compliance with Sales & Use Tax regulations. Prepare and submit on time the Sales & Use Tax returns in PICO system. Support and provide the requests from auditors. Coordinate and assure to process the Government payments on time (Municipal Tax, Property Tax, Income Tax). Prepare and submit on time the Workman compensation returns and payments. Partner with, but not limited to, Treasury and Corp Tax Team. Assure the proper expense recognition thru the 11 entities. Support internal and external audit requests. Coordinate reporting of capital expenditures and engineering cost required to support projects Assist with the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial results with the ability to drive process improvement. Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects as requested Develop and prepare timely interpretive reporting, analysis, trends, forecasts and AOP to meet channel requirements. Work with the local Controller and TKFLT to review and approve all fillings. Assist and coordinate the Annual Report with Corp (for PR Dept of State). Exempt Corporation Annual Report (Incentives Office) Assist and coordinate the filling extensions (if required) with the different agencies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or MBA preferred. 7 years of financial analyst and statutory regulations experience. Fully bilingual Spanish / English. Solid Proficiency of Microsoft Excel & Word. Experience with Oracle/Hyperion is preferred.
