Financial Coordinator- Construction Field

Our company is leader in the Field of Structural Steel Construction with over 50 years of experience in Structural, Industrial, Designing and Building. Now we have an excellent opportunity for a professional in the Financial & Accounting field to join our dynamic team. We are seeking for a General Accountant with ample experience in the construction industry who will carry on and coordinate the handling of the company's financial & accounting daily activities through the application of accounting principles to analyze financial information and reconcile accounts among other duties.
The scope of work includes monitoring & coordinating job cost accounting, forecasting, budget, general ledger, journal entries, job invoicing for services, month-end reconciliations, analysis of job and labor costs, asset control, and depreciation processing, contract monitoring, billing,etc.
Requisitos:
•Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite • Knowledgeable of Financial Analytics
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
•Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently; excellent attention to detail with strong analytical & problem-solving skills and deadline oriented.
•Stay abreast of the latest changes in local & federal tax regulations and incentives pertaining construction business.
•Organized & Structured- requires minimal supervision
•Confident leadership that motivates the team
•Ethical & Confidential- well acquainted on managing sensitive financial information in a confidential way.
*This position is initially temporary, contemplated to eventually become permanent*
